Morgan C. Jerald

I am an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I completed my Ph.D. in the Personality and Social Contexts area of the Department of Psychology at the University of Michigan and completed my undergraduate studies at Spelman College.

Framed by Black feminist scholarship, my research program investigates sociocultural factors— such as the media and group stereotypes— that influence young Black women’s gender beliefs, health, and well-being. Read more about my research here.
